Refund Policy

At DVD Bundles (operated by Mcculloch Pitts Limited), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our returns process.

1. Your Consumer Rights

As a UK-based business, we comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You have statutory rights when purchasing goods online, and nothing in this policy affects those rights.

2. 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision within 14 days of delivery. You can do this by:

Please include your order number and the reason for return in your notification.

Important Exception for Sealed DVDs

Please note: Once a DVD or DVD bundle has been opened and the seal broken, we cannot accept returns under the 14-day cooling off period unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

This exception is permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for sealed audio or video recordings that have been unsealed after delivery. This is because once opened, DVDs cannot be resold as new.

3. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return and refund:

Unopened Items (Change of Mind)

  • DVDs must be in their original, unopened, sealed condition
  • All packaging must be intact and undamaged
  • Request must be made within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your DVDs arrive faulty, damaged, or if we've sent you the wrong item, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement regardless of whether the seal has been broken. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

  • Faulty items: DVDs that don't play correctly or have manufacturing defects
  • Damaged items: DVDs damaged in transit (broken cases, scratched discs, etc.)
  • Incorrect items: We sent you the wrong DVD bundle or item

4. How to Return an Item

Step 1: Contact Us

Email info@mccullochpitts.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return (unopened/change of mind, faulty, damaged, or incorrect)
  • Photos (if the item is damaged or faulty)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We'll review your request and provide you with return instructions and, if applicable, a return address.

Step 3: Send the Items Back

Pack the items securely and send them back to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked delivery service.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Change of Mind (Unopened Items)

You are responsible for the cost of returning unopened items if you've simply changed your mind. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If we've made an error or the item is faulty/damaged, we will cover the return shipping costs. We'll provide you with a prepaid return label or reimburse your postage costs upon receipt of the return.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item(s) and confirm they meet the return conditions, we will process your refund within 14 days.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days
  • PayPal refunds are usually instant

We will refund the full purchase price of the returned item(s), including the original delivery charge (if you're returning your entire order).

Please note: If you're only returning part of your order, we will not refund the original delivery charge. Return shipping costs (for change of mind returns) are non-refundable.

7. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you've received the wrong item or a faulty item and would like a replacement, please:

  1. Return the incorrect/faulty item following the process above
  2. Place a new order for the correct item

We'll process your refund as quickly as possible so you can reorder.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be refunded:

  • DVDs that have been opened (except if faulty, damaged, or incorrect)
  • Items returned more than 14 days after notifying us of cancellation
  • Items that have been used or show signs of wear
  • Items returned without original packaging or in damaged packaging (unless the damage was present on delivery)

9. Damaged or Lost in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and items
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@mccullochpitts.com
  • Provide your order number and photos

We will arrange for a replacement to be sent or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer.

If your order doesn't arrive, please contact us and we'll investigate with the shipping carrier. If the parcel cannot be located, we'll send a replacement or provide a full refund.

10. Faulty DVDs

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a DVD is faulty, you have the right to:

  • First 30 days: Reject the item and receive a full refund
  • After 30 days (up to 6 months): We'll have one opportunity to repair or replace the item. If this isn't possible or fails, you can request a refund or price reduction

To report a faulty DVD, please contact us with details of the fault (e.g., disc won't play, skips, freezes). We may ask for a video demonstrating the issue.

11. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the timeframes stated above:

  1. Check your bank account or card statement again
  2. Contact your bank or card issuer - there may be processing delays
  3. If you've done these steps and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at info@mccullochpitts.com

12. Bulk and Business Orders

Different terms may apply to bulk orders. Please contact us at info@mccullochpitts.com before placing a large order to discuss specific terms and conditions.

13. International Orders

If you're ordering from outside the UK, please note that you may be responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs fees in your country. These charges are not included in our prices and are not refundable.

Return shipping for international orders is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
